Water Baptism in ROH Church Siliguri, India   

Dear brothers and sisters, thank you very much for your prayers. Water baptism was conducted in Ray of Hope Siliguri Church in the morning Sunday 9th September. The people who took stare baptism are people group call Adivasi. They are totally different nations, but God opened the door to them for us.

On top of that we also had a Jain brother who accepted the Lord.

Jain are all business class people and they follow Jainism. All of them are vegetarian and very strict follower of their faith. In india there are almost more than 4.5 million Jains, but few countable believers are there. We have one brother who is praying to work among them.

Most of the Jain are very very rich in India and control the whole economy. But their belief have practice call Santhara which is fast unto death for self purification and salvation. Although government of India oppose that, but they community is in favor of that practices.

We have one brother who have bene saved from this community and want to start pioneering work to reach out the community. We need people who will help us to support such missionary.
