Discipleship Classes in Siliguri Main Ray of Hope Church  

First day of our discipleship class I in Siliguri. Ps Sonam wife Bhanu Bhutia is taking class. There were 98 people in training. We rented a facility where these brothers and sisters have fooding and lodging facility.

Matthew 9: 36 says that; When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Although the field is ripe and ready for harvest, we wont be able to do harvest until laborers are there. Many beleivers just there in Kingdom to get blessings but never bear the burden to become labor until they are motivated, mobilize, enocurage, equipeed and empowered.

God is always expecting the church to prepare all as active laborers to harvest the ripe field. That is why, we take this opportunity to train and equip all brothers for Kingdom mission after winning them. We have projected to equip more than 500 brothers and sisters in India in three main nations like bengali, Bihari and Nepali. Our expectation is to create a soul winning and laborer raising movement among them to win millions in next 10-15 years.

For us to acheive the goal, we are starting to train these 500 brothers and sisters in a year. Then we will start the another new groups brought by these brothers and sisters. At the same time, we will be rasiing more and more trainer groups too when the group become huge.

So we would like to request each one of you to pray that Lord will give us grace to create a movement among these people group. Thanks again for your generous support and prayer. May God bless each one of you abundantly as you become blessings to the nations.

During classes four Hindus accepted Jesus, and other four will take water baptism. One man who completed medical course was mentally ill due to depression. Now he is becoming normal after prayer and he wants to take baptism too. Brother Anatoly Prikhodko from Bellevue, USA came to Siliguri to help with training. He was excited and wanted to arrange meeting in Kolkota during winter. He wants to sponsor the training because he saw many new converts. Please pray for this event and these people.
