Prayer Request from Ray of Hope Church Kolkata, India 

We have an urgent prayer request concerning Ray fo Hope church in Barrackpore Kolkota. Ten years before there were no beleivers. Now hundreds have given their life to Christ and having prayer and worship in five different houses. These are house fellowship since we are not able to build a church there. In some home 70-90 people gather together to worship. Lord is touching many people healing their physical bodies. Every week some new people are added to the church.

Pastor Atul Sarkar is Pastor uncharge of this place. He is married man and have two sons and one daughter. His daughter Payel Sarkar graduated from All nations Seminary Siliguri with Bachelor of Theology and now helping her  father among youths and children. His wife Sunita has been sick for long time as she was suffering from tuberculosis.

This brother do not have any college education. He was trained in our Servant leadership seminar classes and also the intensive discipleship classes conducted by ray of Hope India. Recently, he was threatened by group of people to stop all preaching and gathering in one place. He is given one week ultimatum to stop all these activities.  His family is under threat and we are praying for him. Kindly pray that Lord will protect he and his family and may the ongoing work expand more and more.

He has small land of 1500 square feet. He is living in a small hut there. Many times he asked us to help him to put a building there so that they could run the worship center and also the place for his family to live. We are taking estimate of the cost of the building. 

Coming 14-16th June 2019, we are brining 20 passionate brothers and sisters from this group to Siliguri. Dozens more from Bihar also will participate. This is mainly to train them how to stay strong in the lord carrying not the Greta work  such hostile  situation. On top of that, we will be spending time with them praying with them. We are providing the transport fares, fooding lodging and all other needs. Kindly pray for the anointing from above so that these brothers and sisters could be strengthened and move ahead.
